Pressbox fast facts:

The Abe Bryan Pressbox has looked over Death Valley, in this basic form, since the early 60's. The top half of the pressbox was added on by Mr. Dave Hindman with the help of some of Abe's players at that time.

In 1993 the BOE decided to renovate the structure to it's current condition. The inside of the 1st floor was totally remodeled with new carpet, new counters and chairs, new drywall, and a new ceiling. The main floor has accomodations for the press, TV, radio, and the Public Address announcer (Mr. Cruganale) and his spotters. The 1st floor also features "The Computer Room", which is where the video board, the fire-breathing horse, and the PA system are operated from.

The old 2nd floor was removed and a new one was added. The top floor features the Big Red Coaches Room, the video room, the visiting coaches room, and restroom facilities.

The pressbox is air conditioned for those hot late summer affairs, and is heated for when the weather turns colder.
