Big Red's

Next Game:

Inkster Michigan Vikings, Friday, August 27th, 2010, 7:00 pm @ Death Valley.

Big Red will open the 2010 season against the only team to have beaten Big Red in the regular season in the last 7 years, the Inkster Vikings.

Last year's contest was a back and forth affair that saw Big Red make a furious comeback only to see it slip away on a 70 yard pass play with seconds left.

Both QB's from last year have moved on to to Division I programs, so a lot will hinge on who will step up for each team.

Big Red has won every opener since 1989, but this will be a very formidable challenge, as the Vikings are big, fast, physical, and well coached.

My Story, or Everything I Needed to Know About Big Red Football I Learned At Central!

I transferred to Big Red my sophomore year, for entirely unrelated-to-football reasons.  Some Central people might say different, but one reason that I find this argument so funny is that, at the time, I was convinced I wasn’t good enough to play for Big Red.
